I also would like to thank the Dutch Crew for a very nice event! I know there were some difficulties last year, which maybe was the reason why only so few racers came, or the bad weather? Don´t know.
I know for sure that this was an excellent event, which could have taken more racers easily. Timing went very smooth (Thanks BART!), courses were super fast and fun, food was awesome and everything was just taken under a "easy vibe".oh...the trophies are really nice too, hihi thank you!!! and before I forget!!! Check those starting ramps!!! There were the best I have seen in a long time!!! Awesome job!

Great to see racers from last year improving so much! Especially MR.ERnst! wow!
The night race was super! I will never forget that!

I had a great time, and I would love to come next year!
Everyone who is shooting for a great time, be there....those who create bad vibes...please stay at home! hehe...

Normally the “Eleven-city-fever” hits the whole country when 10 days of minus 10 degrees are forecasted. This year it hit me while the sun shined and it is way too warm. Stand Up Paddling the 11 cities tour is a fantastic chance and challenge of which I can hardly wait to start with! Although the route is long and a physical and mental test I will try to smile the whole 220km, to promote the sport and gain as much participants as possible for the coming years. When the Eleven-city “fever” hits, the ice skaters are known to move anything else aside effortlessly. So I must be “infected” as well, because I have to skip the Amsterdam Slalom Skate event, one of my other passions, which I trained for quite some time. It is like that, and yes, choices are made easy when it comes to Stand Up Paddle THE most famous tradition Holland knows.

Ernst ripped big time!!

I want to make public my BIG THANK YOU to Ernst, he helped immensely to help making this a great event. Super ramps and POSITIVE attitude.
 
Not only that, he also scored first place in TS, making him the first ever NL skater to win a international skateboarding event (slalom, street or vert)

And then two other podiums. Super

The Dutch Crew is now stronger than ever. Slalom skateboarding has its place in Holland and it is doing GREAT.

Hope to see you guys competing next year. Robby showed he is able to do it and I am sure Erwin would have placed well as well

Op m'n werk kon ik dit filmpje niet afspelen, dus zag het pas gister.
Jemig wat heben die duitsers dat mooi gemaakt zeg. Sávonds heb ik ook nog een paar runnetjes gemaakt met die lampen erbij. Als je dan vanuit het licht in het donker reed was dat echt spektakel.

The World Slalom Skateboarding contest will have a different format in 2010.
I had a telephone conversation with Donald Campbell today and I do think that his idea is a valid one. Tomorrow I will be discussing this at school.
I do think that Robby and Erwin have a good chance to perform really well in slalom skateboarding, Ernst already does.
We (NL) will have 3 places in the final World contest. I am trying to get a NL team together. The idea is to have a group of Dutch skaters that would be willing to travel to the qualifying contests. For that we need to train HARD. I would be happy to coordinate this effort.

Hi there

The world ranking is once again out, with very good surprises coming from the Dutch side.
We not only place far better this year but there are also many more Dutch skaters in it.
I am happy to see that a lot more skaters practicing slalom is Holland. And that in 2009 a Dutch skater was first in an International event. Congrats to Ernest and of course to all of you.

De eerste de beste droge zaterdag "are we gonna rock that place!"

wat ik een beetje bergijp is dat die lpd boards wel ff wat anders zijn dan de slalom maar dat als je een kort lpd board hebt je misschien ook nog wat in de slalom kan!!
